What to buy - Lama 4 or something else Posted: 19 Oct 2007 05:03 p.m. |
Hi
I have a small micro helicopter (Dragonfly Prince) at present that is heaps of fun even though it won't fly straight! I suspect the battery is not going to last either and I guess can't be replaced when it does.
I think I'd like to get something better that actually flys under more control and is a bit bigger - something to amuse the nephews with my skill!
Don't want to spend thousands on something that I will just crash and burn either - something that will fly under control inside and has replacement parts etc. Where should I start?
I think I have identified the ESky Lama 4 or 3 as a good entry level machine that I might be able to learn OK. Am I likely to crash lots and break things?
Also maybe there is a flight sim that can help? Any suggestions or alternatives, comments, experiences etc appreciated.
Regards
